Calling all Silk Painters.
Welcome to the Essex branch. We are an energetic and enthusiastic group of silk painters who meet monthly for workshops and local events to exchange ideas, learn from each other and promote silk painting.
On this site you will find our local events ,news and reviews, our gallery and photos from our national exhibition ‘ Jewels in Silk’ that was held on 6th and 7th October 2007 and hosted by us in Essex, as well as the 2009 Festival hosted by Birmingham.

Beginners Silk Painting Day 2010
10am – 4pm
Saturday June 19th 2010.
Join members of the Essex Silk Painters, for a day in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
You will spend time exploring this fun, therapeutic pastime, using glorious colours to paint on silk.
No previous painting or drawing experience required to create unique pieces of artwork to take home.
All materials provided. Just come and enjoy!
