Sat 12th June Gt Stony workshop day . enjoy a day painting with other members of our branch.

Sat 3rd July Copped Hall 10-6

This is a day to soak up the atmosphere and paint in beautiful surroundings .

First a reminder that our Copped Hall event is next Saturday 3rd July ( where is the year going!)It's such a wonderful venue. Come with your paints,cameras and lunch to share. Coffee and tea available as usual.. Costs depend on numbers but for this event there is a initial £10 deposit Please let Sue O'Hea know asap if you are joining us so we know who is to be let in. Timing is 10am-6pm. You need to be on time so Kay can let us into the vast estate but you can leave before finishing time as the gates open automatically on the way out. I will bring cold wax which works well on iron fix paints but you can try in on steam fix as well. If you bring a small pot with a lid you can take some home to continue experiments.There will be a change to August meeting. We will now meet on Friday 6th August not Saturday 7th

We have traditionally met for a picnic on the Friday in August because holidays make weekends so busy.

Picnic day at Hyde Hall – a lovely RHS garden near
Chelmsford . Meet at 11am outside the visitors centre.

Meet at the RHS Garden at Hyde Hall, Rettendon at 11am outside the visitors centre.You will have to pay to enter the gardens there are places for picnics and a great cafe at the visitors centre and another at the top of the hill.Why not bring a camera and or sketchbook? Disabled visitors (or those who fancy a ride) to the main areas of the garden can use the little shuttle bus which runs all the time. More information is on their website.

Sat 6^th Mar Angela Carruther’s home. 10 -4 Shibori

Angela will lead this workshop. Angela will provide dyes but bring your own silk/scarves etc. Also any drainpipes, nuts/ bolts etc for twisting into the silk. Contact Angela for more information. If you are coming you must let Angela know by the end of Feb. Please bring your own lunch
