A number of members attend the fairs and markets listed on the See Us At page and sell their wares on the day. However a number of members also sell their painted silk (and other items) online or in shops, or offer taught lessons. See below for a brief description, details and links for each member who sells or teaches.
Sue Thomas is one of our founders, is our Resident Artist, and a textile artist based in the Ongar area of West Essex. She is active running both local Guild and tutored classes and sometimes selling at Guild events and stalls. You can see her Essex classes on the "Tutored Classes" page.
She does many other things besides this.

Sue O'Hea is another one of our founders, and a textile artist based in the Loughton/Buckhurst area of West Essex. She is very active running and selling scarves, silk jewellery, covered books, bags and allsorts at Guild events and stalls. She offers group lessons and -occasionally- commissions. Denise Leadley is trained in fashion and based in the Southend area of eastern Essex. She offers a number of regular or custom group lessons suitable for children as well as adults and sells her work with the Guild or direct. Please get in touch via the Contact Us page to find out more (contact details to come). She is helping organise the 2019 National Festival.

Julie Winnard is based in the Billericay area of mid-Essex and sells both painted silk and other textiles and crafts as Jez Designs. She has two Etsy online stores:
jezdesigns which has jewellery and accessories such as bags and scarves
and
jezdesignscrafts where she sells art, kits, patterns, crafting and sewing supplies and homewares/gifts

Jannetta Sosin is based in the Chelmsford area. She works with mainly silk and glass, and offers taught group sessions, commissions and talks/demos. She is a member of the Guild of Essex Craftsmen.

Diane Lee is based in the Hutton/Shenfield/Brentwood area of Mid-Essex and sells online via Etsy as HeavenlyCreationsUK. She specialises in scarves and evening/occasion bags. please contact her via her Etsy store.
